Bringing the Community Together through Events
HPLA’s Event Committee
The purpose of the Community Events Committee is to sponsor, organize and encourage community events, special events, or activities for the members of the Association, which enhance the concept and feeling of community for Poplar Lawn and promote it as an attractive living environment. The committee will plan a calendar of events to run throughout the year, and recommend a budget to the board for such events. Suggested events may include but are not limited to music and entertainment, festivals, food events, car shows, farmer’s markets, arts and craft fairs, Christmas tours, collaboration with High Street Association, etc. The committee will work with the board in the planning, development, promotion and implementation of events.
